WMCAT’s Adult Career Training Program engages adults experiencing under- and unemployment in tuition-free training for new career paths with strong growth potential. Through professionally led instruction, leadership and personal development curriculum, externships with local employers, and holistic supports, you’ll prepare to take national certification exams and enter your new field with confidence.

Pharmacy Tech

Pharmacy Technician

This pathway equips learners for a career supporting pharmacists in retail, hospital, and specialized pharmacy settings. You’ll build the practical skills needed to assist with prescription filling, pharmacy software, patient communication, and more — all while preparing to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam.

Cybersecurity

WMCAT’s Cybersecurity pathway trains adults for real roles in the booming digital security field. This isn’t “sit in a room and watch videos” training: the program includes technical instruction, industry-aligned projects, and tracks in areas like Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Cloud Security Engineering — both sectors employers hunt for talent in. Graduates leave prepared to pursue certification and entry-level cybersecurity roles with solid growth potential.
