Adult Career Training

To enroll in Adult Career Training, you must have a high school diploma or GED, live in Kent County, have no felony record, and be experiencing unemployment or underemployment—such as working part-time, holding multiple part-time jobs, or being in a position that doesn’t fully use your skills or potential.

Pharmacy Tech

Pharmacy Technician

This pathway equips learners for a career supporting pharmacists in retail, hospital, and specialized pharmacy settings. You’ll build the practical skills needed to assist with prescription filling, pharmacy software, patient communication, and more — all while preparing to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam.

Cybersecurity

WMCAT’s Cybersecurity pathway trains adults for real roles in the booming digital security field. This isn’t “sit in a room and watch videos” training: the program includes technical instruction, industry-aligned projects, and tracks in areas like Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Cloud Security Engineering — both sectors employers hunt for talent in. Graduates leave prepared to pursue certification and entry-level cybersecurity roles with solid growth potential.
