Natural Leader, New Career
Marcuis Winkfield is a natural leader. Throughout his career in customer service, he honed his business skills. When Marcuis’s employer was acquired and his position eliminated, he saw a crossroads, a time to reimagine his future. He began looking for training opportunities in cybersecurity, an industry that promised stability — that’s when he found and enrolled in WMCAT’s Adult Career Training Program.

Sculpting a New Path
Justice Gleason was scared to start at WMCAT in the Teen Arts + Tech Program as a ninth grader, but those nerves didn’t last long. “The moment I stepped into the building, the moment I started talking to people, everybody, whether staff [or] students, were so overwhelmingly kind and accepting.”
