The 2017-2018 Fashion Design studio partnered with the Grand Rapids Art Museum to design pieces inspired by works in the museum’s permanent collection. At the end of the semester, we hosted a fashion show in the museum.
The students worked together to make creative decisions regarding their ensembles, and then chose how to represent it on the stage.
Each piece was accompanied by a presentation that outlined their creative process and inspiration.
