Brandy Arnold

Program Manager, Step Year at WMCAT

Brandy joined WMCAT in 2018 and is a Program Manager working in our Step Year and Community Catalyst programs. Before joining WMCAT, Brandy served as Youth & Inclusion Specialist at Kids’ Food Basket, focusing on youth development and co-leading the organization’s equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. Professionally and through community involvement, Brandy is passionate about creating equitable access to opportunities and giving students the tools they need to be successful in school and in life. Brandy serves on the board for cycling non-profit The Spoke Folks, is a member of the Grand Rapids Community Foundation Advisory Council, and volunteers her time with various organizations including the East Hills Council of Neighbors, Grand Rapids Public Schools, KConnect, and the Grand Rapids Neighborhood Summit leadership team. She is the recipient of the 2016 Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) Do-Gooder Award and WGVU Person of the Year Award in 2017. Brandy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Grand Valley State University and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications at Eastern Michigan University.
