Original Sketch Comedy
Teen Artists from the Advanced Video Production studio were set to launch their original sketch comedy project, Pancakes in the Afternoon, at LaughFest in March 2020. Once the pandemic hit and the event was canceled, they came together as a team through virtual classrooms and video chats to reconfigure a launch plan online. They rolled out the show on April 30, 2020 through Facebook and Instagram.
The project started in the Fall of 2019 and the students continued it through the Spring of 2020. With the need to reconfigure their launch, the students used a creative approach to map out a new plan and built promotional materials such as photos, videos, posters, and social media pages.
