Fashion Design
The 2018-2019 Fashion Design studio partnered with the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM) to design pieces inspired by works in the museum’s permanent collection. For the third year in a row, we hosted a fashion show in the museum to share the work of our students from the Fashion Design studio.
The students worked with the GRAM’s curator to gather ideas and tour the museum. Students choose three pieces from the Grand Rapids Art Museum’s permanent collection for inspiration.
Together the students worked to make creative decisions regarding their ensembles, and then chose how to represent it on the stage.
