Director of Workforce Development

The West Michigan Center for Arts + Technology (WMCAT) provides a culture of opportunity for people to make social and economic progress in their lives and community. We fulfill our mission through visual arts and tech engagement, workforce development and social enterprise.

The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about workforce development, is connected with systems level work, and can strategically cast and implement a vision that centers the lives and experiences of students and families. The director will be responsible for all aspects of programming, including: trusting and leading a dynamic team, program vision and growth, program design and implementation, strategic partnership development, and budget management. WMCAT values the knowledge, skills, and assets developed from the lived experience of students and families. The director will leverage program outcomes and student experiences to influence the discourse on workforce development locally, regionally, and nationally.
