Director of Development


The West Michigan Center for Arts + Technology (WMCAT) provides a culture of opportunity for people to make social and economic progress in their lives and community. We fulfill our mission through visual arts and tech engagement, workforce development and social enterprises.

The Director of Development implements and grows a comprehensive fund development program for philanthropic resources for WMCAT, ensuring strategically aligned approaches to foundation and corporate relations, individual annual giving, monthly giving, fundraising events, and public dollars.  

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator who can connect community needs with opportunities for philanthropic partnerships; is energized by representing WMCAT in the community; enjoys building relationships with a variety of stakeholders; and is motivated by WMCAT’s work to provide equitable access to opportunity now while pursuing long-term systems change at scale.

Employment Terms
Salary, Exempt, Full-Time

Hiring Range
$65,000 – $70,000
